Primary Lithium Battery Recycling Kit – 3.5 Gallon

Use this recycling kit to recycle your primary lithium batteries properly. The kit comes with all the necessary tools you need to package the batteries correctly and ship out to be recycled. It is important to remember to tape both the positive and negative terminals by simply placing a single tape around the top and bottom of the battery covering both terminals ends (tape included with kit). Once the plastic 3.5 gallon pail is full of used batteries, simply put the pail in the supplied shipping box with the pre-paid shipping label on the outside, ship it out and we will take care of properly disposing of these batteries at a permitted facility that handles this type of waste.

Acceptable batteries for this kit include: non-rechargeable primary lithium batteries such as lithium-sulfur dioxide (LiSO2), lithium manganese dioxide (LiMnO2), Lithium thionyl chloride (LiSOCI2), rechargeable lithium-ion batteries

Batteries prohibited for this kit include: wet cell batteries, lead acid batteries, lithium batteries containing over 5 grams of lithium per cell or 25 grams total in a battery and broken, cracked or damaged batteries.
