3/4 Inch Hex Head VGII® Drum Plug

This ¾ inch drum plug is made of a reinforced nylon material which provides a strong, reliable seal. When exposed to heat, the nylon plug melts away in the center to allow gases to vent which reduces the risk of explosion. This drum plug is ideal for petroleum products and is supplied with a white FDA approved EPDM gasket. The EPDM gasket has excellent resistance to heat, UV exposure and aging as well as providing excellent chemical resistance. It is resistant to harsh weather conditions and makes the drum plug ideal for outdoor applications.

This VGII plastic plug is FM approved and fits steel drums with a circular base opening. Other circular base bung plugs are available with other plug gasket materials such as polyethylene, heat resistance polyethylene, Buna and many others.
