Finish Thompson Medium Viscosity Pump - EP Motor - 316 SS Tube

This Finished Thompson pump is made of FDA compliant materials. This pump features graphite filled PTFE seals and unique screw type lifting compressor design. The medium viscosity pump handles applications requiring high purity and sanitary construction. Typical uses include detergents, vinegar, motor oils, and semi-viscous liquids with a maximum viscosity of 500 cps (centipoise). The maximum liquid temperature is 150º F.

The motor is continuous duty, explosion proof with TEFC housing, 500W, with a maximum flow of 10 GPM. Supplied with 12 foot cord, internal circuit breaker with manual reset, requiring 115VAC/50-60 Hz. The explosion proof motor is suitable for use in hazardous areas, ideal for flammable liquids. The 500W EP (Explosion Proof) Motor with FDA compliant stainless steel pump tube and shaft has a 1 inch hose barb. The 40 inch tube length fits 55 gallon drums. When pumping flammables with the explosion proof motor and stainless steel pump tube use a Static Protection Kit (SKU A101-835).

The pump tube and shaft are FDA compliant 316 stainless steel. Seals are graphite filled PTFE and internals are 316 stainless steel and PTFE. The pump tube is 1 1/2 inch diameter, with a 1 inch discharge hose barb. The 40 inch pump tube fits 55 gallon drums.

A static protection kit with 1 inch hose barb (SKU A100-835) or with 1 inch NPT (SKU 101-521) is recommended to increase safety when transferring flammable or combustible liquids. The static protection kit includes cross-linked, polyethylene grounded hose, ground wire and clamps.
