Finish Thompson Medium Viscosity Pump, Air Motor, 316 SS Tube, FDA Compliant

This Finished Thompson pump is made of FDA compliant materials. This pump features graphite filled PTFE seals and unique screw type lifting compressor design. The medium viscosity pump handles applications requiring high purity and sanitary construction. Typical uses include detergents, vinegar, motor oils, and semi-viscous liquids with a maximum viscosity of 2000 cps (centipoise). The maximum liquid temperature is 150º F.

The lightweight variable speed 1/8 HP Air Motor operates from a customer supplied compressed air source (requiring 80-100 psi @ 15-32 cfm), supplied with muffler and control valve.

The pump tube and shaft are FDA compliant 316 stainless steel. Seals are graphite filled PTFE and internals are 316 stainless steel and PTFE. The pump tube is 1 1/2 inch diameter, with a 1 inch discharge hose barb. The 40 inch pump tube fits 55 gallon drums.

A static protection kit with 1 inch hose barb (SKU A101-835) or with 1 inch male NPT (SKU A101-521) is recommended to increase safety when transferring flammable or combustible liquids with an explosion proof or air motor with stainless steel pump tube. The static protection kit includes cross-linked, polyethylene grounded hose, ground wire and clamps.
