The C-level is best utilized with 3/8 inch or less wall thickness plastic containers filled with liquid of a dielectric constant greater than 5. Dielectric Constant is the ability of a material to store an electrostatic charge. Any chemical blended with water increases detection accuracy, since water has a dielectric constant of 80.
