Automatic Pressure and Vacuum Relief for Vertical Drums

The Justrite® 2 Inch Vertical Dual-Action Safety Drum Vent is designed to protect drums storing flammable liquids, chlorinated solvents, and corrosive chemicals from dangerous pressure build-up and vacuum conditions. Constructed from polyethylene with a built-in stainless steel flame arrestor, this FM Approved vent automatically relieves internal pressure between 3 and 8 psi while also allowing vacuum relief for smooth, chug-free dispensing. Installed in a 2 inch NPS bung opening on vertically stored drums, this vent helps prevent drum rupture during heat exposure and reduces the risk of flashback ignition. The automatic vacuum relief feature supports steady liquid flow during dispensing and helps prevent drum collapse or leakage.
