Automatic Pressure Protection for Petroleum-Based Liquids

This 2 inch vertical dual-action safety drum vent is designed to protect drums storing petroleum-based chemicals and other flammable liquids from dangerous pressure build-up and vacuum conditions. Constructed from polyethylene with a plated steel flame arrestor, it automatically relieves internal pressure between 3 and 8 psi while also providing vacuum relief for smooth, chug-free dispensing. Installed in a standard 2 inch NPS bung opening on vertically stored drums, this FM Approved vent helps prevent drum rupture during heat exposure and reduces the risk of flashback ignition. Automatic pressure and vacuum relief protect drum integrity while supporting safe, controlled liquid flow during dispensing operations.
