The HGS Series power mixer is used for mixing extremely heavy liquids in tight head drums. The shaft and triple propellers enter through, and screw into the 2 inch NPS bung opening on 55 gallon steel drums. Shaft and propeller are 316 stainless steel. Propellers have a special combination of three, 2 blade fixed props, and one 3 3/4 inch folding prop to provide thorough mixing of extremely viscous liquids.
The HGS series, gear drive, 1/3 HP explosion proof mixer handles viscosities of 4,000 cP (centipoise), The explosion proof motor meets Class 1, Group D classifications.
Economical mixing of very high viscosity liquids.
