Closed Head Drum Mixers - Direct Drive, 1 HP Air Motor

This drum mixer is used when evaporation or ambient contamination is a concern, Grovhac® series 91 agitators provide a nearly air tight seal by threading directly into a standard 2 inch NPT bung. The mount is permanently angled to achieve optimum mixing position.

The 1 HP Air Motor is rated at 60 PSI with 0-3000 RPM @ 5-30 CFM. The air motor is inherently variable speed and explosion proof, cannot burn out or overheat. Direct drive model is ideal for thinner liquids. The coupling, shaft and mixing impellers are stainless steel. The two collapsible propellers allow for easy installation, unfold to 6 inch diameter. The propellers are attached to a 5/8 inch diameter x 34 inch long 316 stainless steel shaft.
