The included lock nut and gasket tighten securely against the drum, allowing the valve to be rotated to the desired position for draining without breaking the seal. Its large, nearly straight bore and angled oval outlet support fast flow of thick materials while helping reduce splashing. A machined brass faceplate ensures smooth operation and a tight seal, and the glossy black lacquer finish adds durability in industrial environments.
