Designed for dependable storage, handling and transport of compatible liquids, this 55 gallon blue HDPE tight head drum combines durable plastic construction with a closed-head design for demanding industrial packaging applications.

The drum features two top openings; a 2" buttress (BTR) opening and a 2" NPS opening, providing access for filling, dispensing and compatible drum accessories. Its high-density polyethylene (HDPE) construction provides excellent impact performance while eliminating the corrosion concerns associated with bare steel containers.

With a UN 1H1/Y1.9/150 rating, this tight head plastic drum is designed for applicable regulated liquid applications when used in accordance with its UN certification and closure requirements. The drum's upper handling ring also supports efficient handling with standard drum-handling equipment.
