The full coverage insulated 55 gallon steel drum heater puts all the heat into the drum, and helps keep it there. The heating elements are located in the lower third of the blanket to avoid overheating of partially filled drums. This insulated heater has a built-in digital thermostat and 6 foot power cord with 240 VAC bare wire connection, plug not included.
The full coverage insulated steel drum heater is an efficient method of temperature elevation, freeze protection and viscosity control of non-hazardous materials. Wrap-around blanket is filled with 1 inch thick high density fiberglass with VELCRO ® closure for quick installation and has a silicone-impregnated surface to resist most chemicals and moisture.
The blanket is 33 3/4 inch tall, fits 55 gallon steel drums with 22 1/2 inch diameter .
