With an epoxy phenolic lining, this 5 gallon carbon steel drum, open head, is made to safely store and transport both safe and dangerous chemicals, inks, detergents, lubricants, and more while retaining their integrity.

Constructed of best quality cold rolled steel: 20 gauge (0.9mm) top, body, and bottom
White cover has a HP bolt type locking ring closure, 2” and ¾” Rieke^® fittings with UV, weather, and impact resistant EPDM gaskets, nut, 5/8” bolt, and 3/8" round rubber gasket for exterior environments (3/8” diameter)
Corrosion resistant 5 gallon steel drum can be recycled, reconditioned, or repurposed
Extremely versatile hazardous materials container: UN Rated 1A2/Y1.8/150 for low (Packing Group III) and medium (Packing Group II) danger liquid products; UN Rated 1A2/X60/S for low to high (Packing Group III) danger solid products

This open head 5 gallon drum is designed, manufactured, and certified to meet UN requirements for hazardous materials under DOT 49 CFR.
