2 Inch NPT Dual Action Drum Vent Plug

This 2 inch NPT polyethylene plug fits plastic drums with circular base bung openings. The dual action vent plug has a micro-porous gauze vent that allows two way venting for either pressure or vacuum relief. This 2 inch vent plug is made with a polyethylene body and white EPDM gasket. The EPDM gasket has excellent resistance to heat, UV exposure and aging. It's resistance to harsh weather conditions make it ideal for outdoor applications, EPDM also provides excellent chemical resistance. White EPDM is FDA approved.

This unique dual action vent plug begins venting at any pressure differential. Drum vent plugs prevent non-flammable liquids from leaking during normal sloshing during transport and handling (not intended for horizontal drum storage).
