Flexible Silicone Heater for 15 Gallon Steel Drums

This Tempco silicone band heater provides an economical and flexible way to heat liquids in 15 gallon steel Drums. Its three-layer vulcanized silicone rubber construction is reinforced with fiberglass for added durability and resistance to a wide range of chemicals. An adjustable thermostat provides controlled heating, while the non-stick silicone surface makes the heater easy to clean.

Note: Not for use with plastic drums or steel drums containing a removable plastic liner.

Caution: Keep the liquid level above the heater during operation. Allowing the liquid level to fall below the heater can reduce heating effectiveness and may irreparably damage the baked-on epoxy phenolic lining of lined steel drums.
