This 13 1/4 inch Double Faced Engineer Hammer meets OSHA requirements for use in flammable areas. Engineer hammers are used for heavy hammering or demolition. Ideal for use with resins, solvents, paint, ink, flammable dusts. Safety tools are non sparking, non magnetic, and corrosion resistant.
Independent tests have shown that our safety tools cannot produce a spark to ignite carbon disulfide, which has the lowest ignition point of any substance. Yet, they have very high tensile strength and hardness. You get maximum torque and shear strength, plus exceptional wear resistance.
