2 Inch Hex Head VGII® Plug

This FM approved 2 inch hex-head VGII drum plug is made of a reinforced nylon material which provides a reliable seal. When exposed to heat, the nylon plug melts away in the center to allow gases to vent, reducing the risk of explosion. The nylon drum plug is ideal for use with petroleum products.

The OEM quality nylon plug fits steel drums with circular base openings. The gasket is a low density polyethylene that is irradiated so it can withstand high temperatures. The irradiated polyethylene gasket is used in general purpose applications and has an excellent resistance to chemicals.
