Unless you specify otherwise, we will ship your order in the most efficient way possible. If you have a preference of carrier, please tell us; we’ll do our best to honor your request. Packages up to 150 pounds are usually shipped via a parcel service, with charges prepaid and added to your invoice. Larger or bulky shipments are shipped via common carrier, freight charges pre-paid and add. Items temporarily backordered are shipped to you immediately as they become available. Need it really fast? PRICING AND SPECIFICATIONS
Prices are updated daily on our website and are net in U.S. currency. They are FOB shipping point and do not include freight, applicable federal, state or local taxes, customs duties or export packing charges. Prices and specifications are subject to change without notice.
We are required by law to add sales tax to orders shipped to certain states. If your company or your order is tax exempt, please send us a copy of your sales tax exemption certificate.
CLAIMS FOR SHORTAGES OR DAMAGED GOODS
We take great care in filling, checking, and packing your order. On rare occasions, a package may be lost or damaged in transit. For your own protection, you should always carefully inspect any shipment before accepting delivery. If damage has occurred, you must note it on the delivery receipt. If a truck shipment is damaged, you must also immediately have the shipment inspected by the carrier. Obtain an inspection report from the carrier and forward a copy to us. LOCAL SAFETY STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS
Certain products sold by BASCO are designed to meet stated U.S. safety standards and regulations. Because local standards and regulations vary significantly, BASCO cannot guarantee that those products meet all applicable requirements in each locality. The purchaser assumes responsibility for compliance with such safety standards and regulations in those localities where the products will be shipped, sold and used.
All products are warranted (1) by the manufacturer to the extent of the manufacturer’s express warranty or (2) by BASCO to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for one year. This warranty is exclusive and is in lieu of any other warranty, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. BASCO’s sole liability shall be limited to repair, replacement, credit or refund, at BASCO’s option, of products returned to BASCO pursuant to our instructions.
BASCO shall not be subject to, and disclaims: (1) any obligations or liabilities arising out of breach of contract or of warranty, (2) any obligations whatsoever arising from tort claims (including negligence and strict liability) or arising under other theories of law with respect to products sold or services rendered by BASCO, or any undertakings, acts or omissions relating thereto, and (3) all consequential, incidental and contingent damages whatsoever including, but not limited to, labor costs or loss of profits arising out of or in connection with the manufacture, sale, delivery, use of, or inability to use any products purchased from BASCO.
These terms and conditions shall constitute the entire agreement between BASCO and the purchaser, and shall be governed by and construed according to the laws of the State of Illinois and the United States of America.
